WHITE BELT (WANG GUK 1: “KINGDOM”)
Meaning: The mustard seed of faith has been planted.
Interpretation: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is the smaller of all seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”
– Matthew 13:31-32 (NAS)
Genesis 8:22 says, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest.”
The whole Kingdom of God is patterned after this spiritual law. Mark 4:13 says “And He (Jesus) said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? And how will you understand all the parables?”
The sower sows the word, and according to Jesus, “the seed is The Word“.
– Mark 4:13-14
As you embark on your Taekwondo journey, you are planting this seed in faith. You are saying to your instructor and to yourself that you will be a Black Belt. Please understand that it will come to pass, and that it will take time and hard work and dedication on your part.
Remember that faith without works is dead. You will also be hearing the Word of God as you continue on with your Journey. The Word will grow inside you and change your heart and mind about the things in your life.
There will come a day when your seed will branch out and create a place in which others can dwell, both in someday teaching Taekwondo and in witnessing to the Truth that Jesus is Lord.
There will be times of frustration, because we all want things to happen immediately, but remember, that time has to pass for a seed to grow.
Your harvest (Black Belt) will come in its due season. “A blessed man is like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, and yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither, and in whatever he does, he prospers.
– Psalm 1:3
I am believing God with you and praying for you that your faith, now as a mustard seed, will produce a great harvest in your life.
